Photo of the Day!

I hope you enjoyed Orson Welles week! For my final photo:

Orson as Harry Lime in The Third Man looking down at all "the little dots"...

"You know what the fellow said—in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock." -Harry Lime (actually written by Orson).

I love it all too.

Oh my, I remember when you mentioned that Orson was brilliant on TCM...and everyone was quick to tell you that Orson did NOT direct it. (*rolls eyes at them*)

Seriously, I think Orson was brilliant just in his acting during that film!!!!! I mean I was rooting for him in the sewer! Hehehe...
