Gosh, today was the day scheduled (yes, scheduled) for me to introduce Alias Smith and Jones to Kate! We (and Casey) were gonna watch an episode on Hulu and chat at the same time about it!

I hurried all day through my biology and other work, and at 3:30 (half hour before the start time) I came to start up my computer.

Of course, Hulu wouldn't load. Of course, I have never, ever had a problem loading Hulu (and I've watched hours on it). Nothing would work, I tried everything (LITERALLY everything).

I had to cancel.

Nothing could cheer me up, until...

I saw that above photo...and The Kid's face. It's the weirdest thing! Whenever I see his face I start laughing! Much like I do when I see the faces of Jack Lemmon, Robert Montgomery, and James Garner!

Anyways, we rescheduled! And do expect a post from me on her first taste of AS&J (over at my Old TV Show blog)...

The Pink Outfit Award goes to.....KATE!

Kate's been working over time today getting people to watch Hayley Mills (aka one of the single most amazing people ever) movies! She got Nicole to promise to watch The Trouble With Angels and Sarah to put The Moon-Spinners (one the most underrated films ever) on her Netflix que! So for all that...she really did deserve an award!

The title of the award comes from Hayley's beyond amazing outfit in The Moon-Spinners, which both Kate and I wish we owned!

Anyways, go watch a Hayley movie!

Okay, no more stalling! Now, I REALLY need to go finish my biology homework....;-D

My Lovely Lady of the Week is Claudine Longet...



Claudine is a very talented French singer and actress who is also absolutely gorgeous! I have seen her in several television shows, but especially love her music! And really she has single-handedly THE most adorable French accent ever! (Now, I'll probably get a lot more disagreement on this, than even my Gina's better than Sophia declaration!)

Only recently I discovered that this show, which previously I had only been able to watch now and then when it aired on TV (even then they were always mostly Roger "Fake Heyes" Davis episodes), was available almost in it's entirety on Hulu! From then, there was just no backing down. I just can't help myself! I keep watching them over and over and over and over....

P.S. My very favorite episode is Never Trust an Honest Man...

~Cherry Honey Ricola Cough Drops~



So, I actually didn't know that it was possible to overdose on Natural Herb Throat Drops (from Switzerland no less), but apparently it is. This occurred a week or two ago, on a Sunday. I was feeling poorly and was simultaneously chatting on AIM with Kate, Sarah, Casey, and Nicole. I was also quickly consuming an entire family pack of Cherry Honey Ricolas. I was even doing a countdown of how many I had left (okay, so I don't have a lot to bring to the conversation...I had to say something)! I had about four left, when suddenly I read the back of the package - and I quote - "Adults and children 6 years and older [well, I am over 6] dissolve [dissolve, what? I always start out sucking on them, but then end up chewing them...it's like my teeth get impatient] 2 drops [Um, only 2?] (one at a time [oh, yeah, I was so only chewing them one at a time]) slowly [I tried to chew them slowly!] in the mouth. Repeat every two hours [Oops, every 2 HOURS, not every 2 MINUTES? Just a little misunderstanding!] as as [Oh my gosh, the Ricola wrapper had a typo!] needed or as directed by a doctor [I feel like most doctors don't give out prescriptions for Ricola, but I could be totally wrong!]"

Yeah, so I mentioned my slight error to my concerned fellow bloggers, who tried to stage an intervention! But, it didn't work cause I was crawling along on the floor looking for a Ricola which had fallen out of it's wrapper!

I am terribly sorry about the lack of Photo's of the Day lately! I just got a new laptop, and all my photos are saved to the family computer! Also, unfortunately, my brothers won't let me get on the family computer because, "You have you're on computer now!" (annoying!). Anyways, I'll be transferring the over as soon as possible! Gosh, songs like this always make me so sad...especially when I know the backstory. It's the equivalent of Frank singing I'm A Fool To Want You.

But, Bobby singing Once Upon A Time is particularly tragic to me, because I love both Bobby and Sandra so much!
