I was 16 in 1960 and I adored Bobby Darin. He was my favorite male singer and he was alone in that category for two years, '60 and '61. "Beyond the Sea" (my favorite!), "Clementine", "Won't You Come Home, Bill Bailey?", "Artificial Flowers", "Lazy River" and "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby". All top 20 and all released in those two years. I'm afraid I didn't care for any of his following hits with the exception of "Irresistible You" but during those two years, he was the King!
Oh what an adorable couple they made! Such a great picture.
