My Lovely Lady of the week is Inger Stevens.

Inger was an absolutely gorgeous lady from Sweden (an amazing country which also can boast about Ingrid Bergman, Greta Garbo, and
Lolita).
I must confess I really haven't seen Inger in too much. But, ever since I first saw her a few years ago in a Twilight Zone episode...I have never forgotten her. The episode was titled
The Hitchhiker. Besides that fact that it is an amazing story and superbly acted, I was even more struck by the sheer beauty of Inger. She was so gorgeous...but also so natural... I have seen her in other TV shows (most notably
Bonanza and another
Twilight Zone episode) and she was in several famous films which I AM gonna watch (despite the fact that she almost always co-starred with a variety of my least favorite actors). She also was the star of the TV show
The Farmer's Daughter, which I have not had the privilege to watch.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this tribute to this extremely lovely lady who led a tragic life and died much too young.
Also, C. Parker over at Starlet Showcase wrote a very nice post about Inger, which I stumbled upon last week while searching for a specific photo.
Check it out!Enjoy:
